BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

FEBRUARY 11, 2002

PRESIDENT JEFF WILSON CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 7:00 P.M.

MEETING MINUTES OF JANUARY 21, 2002 WERE APPROVED AS AMENDED (MSC)

ATTENDANCE: SEE THE LIST AT THE OFFICE.

OWNER'S FORUM:

7:10 P.M. - 7:45 P.M.: TWO FAIRLIE ROAD OWNERS ADDRESSED THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGARDING THEIR INSISTENCE THAT THE GENERAL MANAGER, NICK ARTHER, BE TERMINATED. ONE OWNER ASKED THE BOARD TO DISMISS MR. ARTHER FROM THE MEETING IN ORDER FOR HIM TO DISCUSS HIS GRIEVANCES PERTAINING TO MR. ARTHER. THE BOARD REFUSED BUT INFORMED THE OWNER THAT THEY WERE INTERESTED IN HEARING HIS COMPLAINTS REGARDING MR. ARTHER'S PERFORMANCE. THE OWNER COMPLAINED FOR SOME TIME IN GENERALITIES AT WHICH TIME THE BOARD REQUESTED THAT HE FURNISH SPECIFIC COMPLAINTS ABOUT MR. ARTHER'S PERFORMANCE. THE OWNER THEN REPEATED A STORY HE HAD HEARD WHERE A REALTOR SUGGESTED TO A CLIENT THAT A CONDO AT PLAYMOR MIGHT MEET HER NEEDS BUT THE CLIENT REFUSED AND SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT TO LIVE IN PLAYMOR BECAUSE IT WAS TERRIBLE. SEVERAL BOARD MEMBERS STATED AGAIN THAT THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN SECOND OR THIRD HAND, NON GERMANE INFORMATION AND AGAIN ASKED HIM TO STATE HIS SPECIFIC COMPLAINTS. HE COULD NOT, BUT NOTIFIED THE BOARD THAT HE EXPECTED TO BE SUPPLIED WITH A MEMBER REGISTER IN ORDER FOR HIM TO SOLICIT COMPLAINTS ABOUT MR. ARTHER FROM ALL OF THE OTHER OWNERS.

THE OWNER PROVIDED THE BOARD WITH A LETTER DATED JANUARY 7, 2002 (ATTACHED) WHICH REQUESTED A DEFERMENT OF A JANUARY HEARING NOTICE (ATTACHED). THE RESPONSE TO HIS REQUESTED DEFERMENT IS ALSO ATTACHED STATING THAT THE COMPLAINT AND THE ASSOCIATED HEARING HAD BEEN CANCELED BECAUSE THE VIOLATION WAS IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED.

THE BOARD AGREED TO CONSIDER THE OTHER OWNER'S REQUEST TO USE COMPLEX FACILITIES TO HOLD A MEETING, ON STOPPING CRIME WITHIN THE COMPLEX, WHEN SHE SUPPLIES THE BOARD WITH THE SPECIFICS OF HER PROPOSAL.

  • BOARD REQUESTED PURCHASE OF DIGITAL CAMERA TO RECORD FUTURE DAMAGE, VIOLATION, AND CRIME ISSUES ($250 OR LESS)
  • BOARD DENIED THE WAIVING OF OWNER FINE
